Just wanted to reach out to say how grateful I am for this book. The message, the illustrations, the printable coloring sheets and AAC template...all of it! I teach AAC users who are currently non-speaking (k-2) with severe disabilities. I've read the book to all 3 grades and the impact it has had on the students is mind blowing. I've created a bulletin board and students in all 3 general education classrooms have created their own AAC device that hangs proudly on the board.

The buy in with the students was there and this whole thing is turning out to be a much bigger deal than I expected. I can already see the increased engagement among my students and peers. The kids are curious to know more. That is powerful stuff."
